Must See Moscow Mule

Introduction

Hello Cocktail Clan. Here is a simple yet fantastic refreshing cocktail.  Moscow Mule is three ingredients make up this cocktail.  You will use Vodka, Lime Juice and Ginger Beer.  You will Garnish this cocktail with a Lime Wedge.  This cocktail is best served in a copper mug but, if you don’t have one you can use an old-fashioned glass.

Here are the ingredients you will need:

Vodka

Find your favorite vodka and use it.  You don’t need to use the most expensive vodka as the ginger beer is really the start of the show.  The vodka I choose is Wheatley.

Ginger Beer

Get yourself a very good Ginger Beer.  Here is one of my favorites Bandaberg.  This Ginger Beer has a really nice spicy ginger flavor that makes this cocktail pop.  If you can’t find Bandaberg you can also use Goslings ginger beer.

Lime Juice

Now the best thing here is to use freshly squeezed lime for the cocktail.  However, if you don’t have lime available you can also use Nellie & Joe’s Key West Lime Juice.  This bottle has Fresh Water, Key West Lime Juice and a single preservative.  If you can’t find this, use any lime juice you like but, please ensure it doesn’t have lot of ingredients that you can’t pronounce.

Ingredients Moscow Mule:

• 2 oz Vodka
• Squeeze half a lime for juice
• 4 oz Ginger Beer
• Lime Wedge for Garnish

Instructions:

1. Take a copper mug out.
2. Fill the copper mug with Ice.
3. Add the Vodka
4. Add Fresh Lime Juice
5. Top off with your Ginger Beer
6. Lightly Stir
7. Garnish with a Lime Wedge

Conclusion

If you are looking for a great simple refreshing cocktail, there is nothing better than the Moscow Mule. This is a cocktail you can make twists out of. If you love bourbon go with a Kentucky Mule. Just replace the vodka with your favorite mixing bourbon. This is a cocktail you can have an anytime but, is the best on a hot summer day. If you don’t have a copper mug this cocktail is just as good in an old-fashioned glass. Now go get yourself ginger beer, vodka, and a lime and enjoy.
